A 60 minute session
Thai massage is a full-body massage that combines yoga-like stretches with acupressure and deep tissue pressure to improve flexibility, relieve tension, and balance the body's energy.
We use our hands, feet, elbows, thumbs, and forearms to apply pressure and knead muscles along the body's energy lines, called sen. We also use gentle adjustments to move the body into yoga-like poses.
Thai massage can help with pain, joint mobility, and muscle stiffness. It's also said to improve circulation.
Thai massage is more active than traditional massage, and you're fully clothed during the session. You lie on a mat on the floor instead of a massage table, and the therapist will move your body through stretches. [If you would prefer to be on a massage table, let us know at time of booking whether you want traditional [mat] or on the table]
Thai massage is sometimes called "the lazy person's yoga" because it's similar to a yoga session while lying down.
$120 for the session
While I am not recognized by insurance companies for massage, I may be covered under your health spending account.
If you would prefer a session in the comfort of your own home, then a travel fee of $10-20 would be added to the session cost (all depends upon the location)
