It is my goal that in 10 lessons one will know how to front crawl (freestyle), tread water, and breaststroke.I AM SO GLAD YOU REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO LEARN HOW TO SWIM! It is a life skill everyone should make a priority!!
My Goals
My primary goal for my students (Children and Adults) is to make them completely comfortable in any body of water private or public. So they do not have any anxiety about doing water activities. Of course, be smart but not afraid to explore water activities that are meant to be fun. Unfortunately, our youth is still drowning at an alarming rate and adults are jumping in after them not knowing how to swim. So, it is my mission to change that one lesson at a time.
About Me
I have been teaching swimming for almost 30 years. When I was growing up it was mandatory to know how to swim. So, it made sense to take a job at the pool. I am the eldest so I ended up teaching my siblings as well! I was a lifeguard for several years while in high school and college. I also taught swim lessons. When I moved here to Cali I took a break from teaching swim lessons until I had my children! My firstborn son at 3 years old was going on a trip with his grandparents without me. I knew he would be in a pool somewhere. So, we went on a mission to make sure he would be safe in and around water.
Why did I start again?
I started again because one of my close friends had mentioned she needed her son to learn how to swim and asked if I could teach him. That’s how my swim instruction started for the second time around. Realizing there was still a huge need for people to learn how to swim. Of all the things we can’t control, this is one that we can! So VIP SWIM SCHOOL was formed. We have many successful swim stories, many students on swim teams, and many more are on the way. My youngest student is 15 months old and my eldest is 75. I start teaching my students at 10 months old and it is NEVER too late to start!!
Credentials
I continue to keep my CPR and water certificates up to date (they are below). I also continue to stay refreshed on new techniques to assist in saving and teaching.

The 2024 season is going to be epic with more consistent scheduling on a brand new website.
Swim instruction is private. We will assess and instruct each student through our set of established skill levels. Students can learn at their own pace and generally develop swimming skills more quickly than in a group lesson setting. We learn 4 swim strokes and water safety procedures! We look forward to teaching you and/or your child this summer.
20 LESSONS FOR $700 .30 minutes (10/10 for 2 children)
10 Lessons for $400 .30 minutes each lesson!
Family lessons can be split ie: 21 lessons (7 lessons a piece/7/7/7 $750. This would be for 3 people in family.

I'm very flexible with time so if an emergency comes up or you go on vacation we can make up the lesson. All lessons are guaranteed to occur.
