The 4934 at Poplar & Payne

The 4934 is a flexible classroom and gathering space located inside Poplar & Payne in the heart of East Memphis. Designed for groups of up to approximately 20 people, the space is available for workshops, classes, meetings, book clubs, small celebrations, private gatherings, and more.

Please choose the booking option that best fits your use of the space:

Private Room Rental — Hourly Rate

Choose this option if you are renting The 4934 for a meeting, book club, private gathering, small event, shower, club meeting, or other personal/business use. Simply choose the number of hours you need, select an available time, and pay the hourly rental rate when booking.

Approved Class & Workshop Instructors — $0 at Booking

Choose this option only if you have been approved by Poplar & Payne to teach a class or workshop. Instructors use this calendar to reserve their approved teaching dates and times and are not charged an hourly room rental. Poplar & Payne’s fee is handled separately through class ticket sales. This option is not available for private events or general room rentals.

Once a time is reserved, it is removed from availability to prevent overlapping bookings.
