Have you always wanted to learn to read tarot cards but never really known where to begin? Come to my beginner tarot class, and I'll teach you everything you need to know to get started reading for yourself and others. We will go over several simple tarot spreads and the basics of card interpretation. You will be able to do a tarot reading by yourself by the end of your first class!
As you practice, you will hone your intuition over time and learn how to really read people and apply the card meanings to their lives, a skill that cannot be taught, only learned through experience. I will begin offering intermediate level courses that dive deeper into card meanings and interactions in the fall. For now, the beginner course will meet twice a month. Come as often as you'd like!
We will meet in the evenings at Quarterman Park in Hanahan for one hour. Class size will be capped at 7 as I find a small, intimate gathering is best. The cost to attend each one-hour class is $30, due at the beginning of class via electronic payment only, not cash.

Bring a blanket to sit on and your own tarot deck. It is also a good idea to bring a notebook and pen or a tablet, if you want to take notes, and your own drinks and snacks. Don't forget quarters for the duck food dispensers!
If you don't have a deck, you can usually find them in independent bookstores like the Green Dragon. You've probably heard the superstition that it's bad luck to buy your own deck, that you must wait to be gifted one. Nonsense! To this day, no one has ever given me a tarot deck. If I hadn't bought my own, I wouldn't have one at all. Buy yourself a deck. Be sure to get one with a book of card meanings to help you learn. They are very affordable on Amazon. If you can't afford one, I will let you work with mine.
The first class will be on Wednesday, June 25 from 6:30 to 7:30PM. I will try to vary the meeting days and times so that everyone gets a chance to attend. Please feel free to email me if you don't see a time that works for you, and we will plan a class together!
Class will only be held if 2+ people sign up, so please RSVP if you plan to attend! Choose any available time slot to enroll with the booking tool. The time slot is not important. No matter what you select, class will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 6:30. This just gets your name on my roster. You may also signup using the Facebook event page.
If class is canceled for any reason, you will be notified via email and tuition will be refunded.
