The 30-minute online option is ideal when you have a specific subject that you'd like to get a handle on ... or need to renew/refresh your understanding of something you already have a foundation of knowledge on, but just need a 'top up' on, or need to gain greater confidence in your ability.

Typical subjects are medication math, the pharmacology of a specific drug group, a single concept in pathology, or identifying nursing care needs related to a specific case study or assignment.

A 30-minute session is not the best if you are needing to review a big chunk of material before a test!

Upon completing booking and payment, you will receive a Zoom or Google Meet link.

While the 30-minute online option is ideal when you have a specific subject that you'd like to get a handle on ... or need to renew/refresh your understanding of something you already have a foundation of knowledge on, the 60-minute online option is best for reviewing a 'chunk' of material before a test, or when you feel you need more of an in depth exploration about a bigger topic--or one that you simply know is going to take a bit of time!

Typical subjects are continued difficulty or lack of confidence with medication math, understanding pharmacokinetics or a group of drugs, several related conditions in pathology, or needing help with a paper or term assignment such as a case study nursing care plan.

A 60-minute session is best if you are needing to concentrate on your personal learning needs to review a big chunk of material before a test!

Sometimes you need to connect in person. Just you. This is especially helpful if you have a paper or assignment you would like immediate feedback on, or you are wanting to do hands-on work with a mentor, such as medication math.

In-person tutoring may not be a good fit for you if you have allergies or other concerns that may be triggered by being in a farm atmosphere. 😉

If you are considering private in-person tutoring at Fox Song Farm, please remember to bring all course materials you may need. And feel free to bring a coffee or smoothie to keep you hydrated and alert! 🍵

Sometimes you and your study buddies are all needing that extra bit of help with the same issue. A group session is especially helpful if you are all feeling the need to do hands-on work with a mentor, such as medication math, or are puzzling over the same issue when studying for an upcoming test, or working together on a group project.

A group session may not be the best fit for you if you have more in-depth individual learning needs.

In-person tutoring may not be a good fit for you or your group if any of you have allergies or other concerns that may be triggered by being in a farm atmosphere. 😉
