Kim Carter

I am a writer, horsewoman, and coach based at Bramblewood Stables in South Carolina — a working farm and refuge I founded on the belief that honest transformation happens in relationship: with land, with horses, and with people willing to tell the truth about where they are.

My work draws on decades of study in somatic awareness, narrative process, and equine-assisted practice, but what people tend to remember isn't my credentials, but that I see clearly, speak plainly, and don't flinch from what's actually in front of me.

I have spent my life in barns, and most of it learning to listen — to horses, to bodies, and to the things underneath the things. That's what I bring to every conversation.
