Join Maria Lau at CRAFTED Maker's Market at The Art House in Wakefield.
About the event: Come and explore a curated showcase of hand-crafted products from 20+ local Designer-Makers, including textiles, ceramics, jewellery, printmaking and more. CRAFTED also coincides with the Open Studios event. Visitors can explore the Artist studios, wander through the Grade II Listed Building—and join free creative activities. Refreshments and lunch are available at the Coffee House all day long. This event is ideal for families, and dogs are welcome too!
Maria will be offering Bonded jewellery and ready-made contemporary pieces. A limited number of Bonded appointments are available. You are welcome to come along to get welded without an appointment, however booking is recommended to secure a time slot.
Each appointment is suitable for 1-2 people. For more than 2 people, please book an additional slot.
A £10 deposit is required for booking which is deducted off the final payment. Deposits are non-refundable. 24 hours notice for cancellations.
Choose from our BONDED collection of bracelets, anklets, or rings. Available in sterling silver or 14ct gold-filled. 9ct gold bracelet options available.

STUDIO APPOINTMENTS - Slaithwaite
Book your appointment:
- Choose a date from the calendar to book your studio appointment. Our schedule is released 1-2 months in advance.
- Special requests: if your desired date or time isn't available, email us at contact@marialau.co.uk. We'll do our best to accommodate you or suggest alternatives.
Preparing for your visit:
- Viewing ready-made collections: To ensure we have the pieces you're interested in on display, leave a note with your preferred styles or collections while booking. View the current collections online here
- Group bookings for Bonded: Appointments are for 1-2 people. For groups of 3-4, check for double spots and book the first one. Leave a note with the number of people attending. Groups of 5+ require a message or email to contact@marialau.co.uk.

The Rooms, The Old Corn Mill, Britannia Mills, Slaithwaite. HD7 5HE By appointment only. Located above the Art Gallery Shop on Britannia Road. We'll meet you at the entrance! (Please note: one flight of stairs)
Additional information:
- Individuals under 18 require a parent/guardian to sign a waiver at the appointment
- Permanent jewellery is not suitable for pacemaker wearers due to the welding process. Please consult your doctor before booking.
