Empowering Patient Centered Care is a two part course created for Eastern Ontario Paramedics to increase capacity using trauma informed frameworks to recognize and respond to sexual assault/abuse & trafficking in children and youth. Part one is an online, self paced learning module preparing participants for a 2 hour virtual workshop that will integrate theoretical knowledge into patient care using case examples. When you book, you will receive access to the online module. Please allow yourself enough booking time to complete the module at your own pace prior to attending the live workshop.
Participants will be eligible for 4 CME credits for this training and receive a resource list.
