Discover the benefits of breathwork in this introductory group session. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your practice, this session offers a safe, supportive environment to explore how breathing techniques can benefit your mind and body, and lead to relaxation and inner peace.
In each group session you will be guided in breathwork, sometimes exploring a specific theme, with and without music. The sessions provide an opportunity to bring whatever is happening for you and get support through your breath. In the session I will briefly introduce breathwork, so no previous experience is necessary and I will then guide you in a ‘breathe’. If you’re new to breathwork you are welcome to arrive 15 mins early for a short introduction before hand - or alternatively you can access a recording of a
short introduction to watch beforehand.
Cost: Single group session fee is £12. Payment details will be included in the booking confirmation email.
The breathwork practice will involve conscious connected breathing. It will be gentle and easy to learn process that allows you to find more connection, peace and freedom. You will be guided by Matt, a local breathwork facilitator, trained by the Breathing Journeys school of breathwork.
Please bring a blanket, cushion and mat to lie on if you have them, otherwise yoga mats and blankets will be available at the BM Barns. You might also want to hand a water bottle and notepad – and do bring any medication that you may need (e.g. asthma inhaler).
There are some health contraindications to be aware of and to book you will need to agree to the
