Learn the fundamental skills needed to operate a sewing machine & complete a simple project.
Holiday Project Workshop
Sunday, 12/15/24, 4-9 pm, Open forum, come in any time during scheduled event.
Come on in with your holiday sewing projects and ideas. Get motivated in a free-form environment where we will share ideas, projects, workspace, tools and materials.
Bring a project you are currently working on that you need to finish or come to find out some new possibilities for hand-made gift ideas.
Sewing machines and other sewing tools will be available for anyone to use, as well as some fabric and trim.
Call in advance to give an idea of how many will be attending, in order to ensure enough sewing machines will be available for those who will need one. Ages 10+ welcome.
$25.00 per person
Private Tutoring
Offering one-to-one tutoring for guidance with sewing machine usage, a specific project that you have been wanting to complete, or insights for general sewing skills.
Schedule an appointment for 1-3 hour increments, $40 per hour. Payment of the first hour is required at time of booking.
Appointment availability: Mon, Thu, Fri 5-8pm.
Sewing Basics for General Patterns and Construction
Saturday, 8/17/2024, 4-7pm
Great for beginners! Gain a foundation in sewing with essential techniques for pattern reading, fabric choices and sewing techniques for a variety of sewing projects.
This class could be project-lead, based on input provided by participants.
Introduction to Garment Construction
Saturday, 8/24/2024, 4-7pm
Learn essential techniques for garment construction such as reading & using patterns, making fabric choices, and garment assembly.
