Welcome — Book Time With John Sheeley, EA
Thanks for scheduling. I use TidyCal to manage appointments, and availability is limited (especially during peak filing and notice seasons). If you don’t see a time that works, check back—new openings are added as they become available.
About John
I’m John Sheeley, EA, and I work with taxpayers and tax professionals on the parts of the tax world that are usually the most stressful: IRS letters, collections, compliance issues, and high-stakes “what do we do now?” situations. I’m known for practical advice, clean communication, and helping people turn a messy tax problem into an organized plan.
Choose the Right Appointment Type
1) John Sheeley, EA — Taxpayer / Tax Office Appointments
These appointments are for tax clients and prospective tax clients who need help with tax planning, tax compliance, IRS notices, and related tax matters.
Important note about timing: Because appointment availability is limited and it can take time to get a meeting on the calendar, prospective tax clients should email a brief summary of what you need so I can make sure you’re pointed to the right next step.

Include (briefly):
What the issue is (IRS notice, unfiled returns, collections, planning, etc.)
Key deadlines (if any)
Your current status (filed/not filed, payment plan, notices received)
2) Research.Tax Corp — Practitioner Help
These appointments are for tax practitioners (EAs, CPAs, attorneys, and tax professionals) who want help thinking through a client situation, research questions, notices/collections strategy, or practice workflow questions. This is practitioner-to-practitioner support—come with the facts, your questions, and what you’ve already tried, and we’ll map out the best path forward.
