Somatic Trauma Release Session - AUCKLAND

A 90 minute somatic practice designed to release deep muscle tension and reduce stress.

Each session will start with some gentle breathwork followed by movement and therapeutic tremoring ending with a guided relaxation.

Therapeutic tremoring is a somatic therapy focusing on an instinctive shaking mechanism as a natural tool for self-regulation, healing and maintaining homeostasis.

Through specific movements this natural tremor response becomes something that is uncovered by you, not taught to you. It is inspired by ancient cultures all over the world, by nature, science and by our bodies' innate intelligence. When an animal encounters trauma they instinctively shake to heal themselves, moving the energy out of their bodies straight away. As humans we tend to suppress emotions and feelings when we go through something traumatic. This energy then gets stored in the body and can manifest into pain, tension and disease if not released from the body-mind.

These sessions are designed to help recalibrate your nervous system, switching you into parasympathetic dominance bringing with it a range of healing benefits such as:

- Stress relief
- Easing of tension through muscles and fascia
- Reduced pain
- Easing anxiety
- Release emotional blockages
- Improved sleep
- Connection to the wisdom of your body
- Improvement of symptoms of PTSD and mental health dis-ease

Important Note:

The intention of these sessions is to guide you through somatic ways to release held patterns of tension in the body that can linger after trauma & stress. They are not designed to revisit the traumatic event. That being said as with any body based practice, emotions can arise. If you are currently working through a particular trauma and need extra support I recommend booking a 1:1 session first so that we can work with your unique body in a tailored session rather than a general class. This modality is a great complementary therapy alongside talk therapy. Please reach out if you would like to chat more about these classes.

These sessions are guided by Natasha Godetz, a health coach specialising in chronic health conditions. She started her holistic business 8 years ago, where she shares the transformational tools of breathwork, trauma release exercises, nutrition and movement to help others enhance their wellbeing. Using natural healing modalities to manage multiple autoimmune conditions in her own body she became passionate about sharing these tools with others to empower their health.

This workshop is designed to teach you how to build a simple website in Squarespace and bring together like minded people on the journey of bringing their business ideas to life.

Limited to 4 people it will be held in person at The Button Factory, Auckland

This Website Workshop will teach you how to build your own website and how to use Squarespace so you can update it yourself anytime meaning you don't have to pay someone to constantly update your content.

60 minute Breath Coaching Session

After mentoring with my breathwork and yoga teacher for 2 years at a healing centre in Thailand, I witnessed in myself and others the power of that different breathing techniques could have on peoples mental and physical health. 

Specific techniques can be used to enhance the bodies natural functions, helping symptoms ranging from anxiety & depression to hormone health and digestive complaints. Breathwork can boost the function of organs, glands and circulation bringing us into homeostasis allowing healing to happen. Even a slight adjustment to the way we exhale and inhale, can have a huge impact on our health.

Depending on your health condition/what you want help with we will go over what breathwork techniques can help you with your symptoms and restore balance in the body.
