Apply a deep conditioner to the hair leading up to the date of the relaxer. Conditioners not only help to restore moisture to the hair shaft, but leave it more manageable overall. This will reduce the need to "handle" your hair with styling tools. The less stress you put on your hair before the texturizer, the better.
Reduce use of heated styling tools. Flat-irons, blow dryers and other heat styling implements cause the most damage to your hair. By greatly reducing your use of them before and after the texturizer, you give your hair a chance to recover a bit before applying a box full of chemicals to it.
Made of carefully developed hair-nourishing ingredients, this relaxer is for ultimate hair relaxation, moisturizing, elongation, nourishment, and enrichment. it is effective for soothing damaged and
Sunburned hair, restoring it to perfect natural condition. It is an advanced formula for professional use
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector is a bond-building treatment that claims to reduce breakage and visibly strengthen hair. Not a conditioner, but a “wash out” cream that improves the look and feel of hair, protects the hair’s structure, and restores healthy appearance and texture. That’s all I needed to know and ordered a bottle immediately.
It’s worth mentioning that Olaplex No. 3 relinks broken disulfide bonds in the hair caused by chemical, thermal and mechanical damage, three things I was guilty of. The relaxer process is a harsh one and coupled with my abuse of the flat iron and curling iron, I felt that this could really help me out.
The Stand-Alone Treatment is the most intensive bond-building repair available, using the OLAPLEX concentrate, reserved only for salon professionals. You may have heard a lot about Nº.1 and Nº.2 with color, but when the two come together as a Stand-Alone treatment, they have no chemicals working against them. That means salon strength repair and healthier hair after each treatment. Though this is the most concentrated OLAPLEX you can get at the salon, it’s important to note that this treatment does not moisturize.
The bond-building category OLAPLEX created can be a bit confusing for clients with which treatment to get. Your hair needs both equally. Hair is consistently exposed to elements that both damage and dry it out. Luckily for you, we launched 4-IN-1 to address the former.
