One of their main messages is the concept that sometimes when we feel
invisible, we are simply hiding in plain sight. Find your passion, & you will
start to shine like the diamond or pearl you are! Remember that if a
diamond tried to look like pearl, it would appear milky, dull, & flawed;
and if a pearl tried to look like a diamond it would look marred by the facet
lines making it look irregular & flawed.
Writing & art are great ways to shine light on the things we are passionate a
bout, and citation gives visibility to people who have created materials that have inspired our work. This is the inspiration behind the name.
