The Music Room

For the recording:
- We'll have a chat before we hit record.
- We'll use remote recording software Rooms (Descript) for the chat (this isn't the best in Safari currently, so please try a different browser).
- Pick a slot and it'll automatically generate a link for us both.
- On the day, just click on the link and follow the instructions (maybe give yourself a couple of minutes before the scheduled time for this).

Before our recording, please have a think about your own music education and the people who helped / inspired you.Â
You might like to think about the following questions:
- What are your earliest memories of music, and more specifically of you feeling you wanted to play, that creative feeling?
- Did you have music lessons?
- Did you have teachers or mentors who inspired you?
- Did you have hurdles or barriers to overcome?
- Finally, I will be inviting you to leave an item and a piece of advice in the music room that may have helped you in your formative years. Let's pass on the positive!

- We want to create the best recording possible, so if your room is echoey, please move to a less echoey space if you can.
- Recording via ear bud microphones isn't great, so if you don't have a microphone set up to hand, please use the microphone on the device you're using.
Finally, if you can provide a headshot (or point me towards one online) for promotional purposes that would be much appreciated.
