This is for Science Fiction and Fantasy Books ONLY. This goes out in my personal newsletter and will not appear on Queer Books Weekly. My personal newsletter is focused on SFF books and the few times I've tried to promote other genres in it, it didn't get any traction.
Sign up to have your book promoted in my personal newsletter. My newsletter subscribers enjoy epic and high fantasy books but are also into space fantasy, space operas, and science fiction of other flavors! I feature two spotlights in my newsletter: one for LGBTQIA SFF and one for SFF with disabled protagonists.
If your book is speculative fiction (fantasy, science fiction, horror, space opera, space fantasy, paranormal, urban fantasy, etc!) and features a protagonist that:
- has a disability, chronic illness, mental illness, etc
- and/or is LGBTQIA
Please apply!
I will accept links to books that are reader magnets, review copy sign-ups, or books available for purchase or preorder.
I have two spots available per email so that each book gets the space it needs to shine. My newsletter goes out every other Thursday.
I accept spicy books, but at this time, I do not accept erotica. It's not the genre I write nor the genre my readers enjoy.
I do a cursory review of all books submitted and reserve the right to reject any books that I feel do not fit the criteria.
It doesn't matter what time slot you select, there isn't any actual meeting. This is just the rough timeframe that my newsletter is sent out!
If you want to join my newsletter, you can do so at
join.daxmurray.com, but I will try to send you the archive link for the campaign in which your book was featured.
NO AI COVERS. This is done on an honor system, but if I find out that you have lied, I will not feature any of your future books. Please be honest! If you are a low-income author and need an affordable cover, please check out GetCovers. They do ebooks for $10 USD and paperbacks for $35 USD. I hired GetCovers for Stars and Soil, Scorched Scars, and Smoke and Steel. They are a small company in Ukraine that trains junior designers and recent design school graduates. They do not use AI in their process and they do fabulous work.
