Reflexology II- Hands
Reflexology II introduces hand reflexology. The techniques and skills for hand reflexology make this method so versatile and accessible to most people. The course covers technique, pathology, anatomy, kinesiology, complimentary modalities to hand reflexology, and benefits.This class is in person.This is a 18 hour class that occurs over three (3) days. The registration has only one (1) date. You are required to attend all 3 days. Class meets on April 4 - 6, 2025 for 8 hours each day. Class begins at 9:00 AM CST, and ends at 4:30 PM each day. We will have 90 minutes for lunch each day.There are an additional 10 client hours for you to practice the new techniques and method. Detailed documentation is required for client hours. This is a requirement for those wishing to earn reflexology certification from One Body Education.Client hours are sessions you arrange on your own time to provide 60 minutes of care. Each session must be documented with a formal SOAP note.Each person you provide care for must complete:a health history,release of liability form,consent to have their information shared with the instructor,an HIPPAA form,and a signed copy of your local complimentary and alternative medicine law.You will have 45 days beyond July 28, 2024 to complete the client hours and submit the accompanying documentation.Attendance is mandatory for all in person events to earn certificate of completion for the class.Reflexology I is a prerequisite for Reflexology II. If you have taken an introductory reflexology class from another instructor you may submit your syllabus and certificate of completion to be considered for this class.Class size is limited to 14 people to ensure plenty of 1:1 support. Reflexology I is an in depth course for new reflexologists. ANYONE who wants to learn reflexology is welcome! Join Adrienne on this 10 class journey to build and hone your skills to bring reflexology into your existing or new practice. Adrienne teaches western style foot reflexology based on the tradition of Eunice Ingham. They have been studying reflexology for 36 years, and have been nationally certified for 20 years.Reflexology I is a hybrid class.Class begins January 6, 2026 online. We meet every Tuesday night through February 24, 2025. February 27-28, and March 1, 2025 we meet in person. Location will be announced in the future.This is a 26 hour class. Registration says 2 hours to accommodate for the short comings of TidyCal.Online class is 90 - 120 minutes from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM CST, January 6 - February 24, 2025.In person class is 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST, February 27-28, and March 1, 2025.There are an additional 10 client hours for you to practice the new techniques and method. Ethics for Body Workers
Ethics for Bodyworkers is an 8 hour course to embrace inclusive ethical bodywork practices. We will be working from Gil Hedley’s book The Heart of Service, as well as examining ethical practices to support a multi-cultural, gender, and spiritually inclusive practice. The focus of this course will be for reflexologists, but the material is applicable to all bodyworkers.We will meet online once a month for discussion and examination of principles. You will have the opportunity to complete independent assignments on the Skool platform. You will also be provided with other resources to continue building an understanding of an inclusive and ethical practice. This is an online course. All materials will be on the Skool platform. We will meet once a month 4 times. Saturday's from 9:00 AM - 10:30 PMFebruary 8, 2025March 8, 2025April 12, 2025May 10, 2025Once you have provided payment, you will be grated access to the Skool platform for One Body Education and receive a zoom link.
