The 6-week puppy Class (Friday 6pm)
6 Week Puppy ClassOur puppy training course runs over six weeks, 45 minutes each week, and his age for puppies age 9 to 20 weeks (Approximately). Older pups welcome if suitableIn this course you will learn how to teach a puppy important foundation behaviours and life skills. We cover behaviour such an attention and focus, come when called, stay, find it, drop and other basic training exercises. Your puppy will also learn how to focus on you and stay calm in the presence of distractions (such as other puppies and owners).This is also a great way to socialise your puppy with other puppies, humans and the perks of a new environment.InstructionsLearning is best to achieve through positive reinforcement and lots of rewards. Therefore, please bring lots of high-value treats cut up into small pieces. I find a training pouch can be really useful, but it is not essential and we do have some spares that can be used during class.Have your dog on an ordinary lead (not a slip lead, or a retractable one), feel free to bring a long line with you if you have one although we do have a number of these that can be used should you need them. Bring a mat (we will use this a lot), old towel or a blanket and water for your dog - I find nonslip bath mats work well.The class is outside, therefore please dress accordingly, and bring anything that will make your puppy comfortable for e.g waterproof coat or fleece.What You’ll NeedA flat collar or harness ideally (no slip leads, choke chains or retractable leads please)A standard leadLots of tasty treats (chopped up small - JR Pet pate works brilliantly for training)A favourite toy (or two)Poo bags and water for your puppy (water will be available but I often find dogs prefer their own)A blanket or mat for your pup to settle on (a non-slip bathmat works well)VaccinationsPuppies must have completed their vaccinations to attend the practical sessions.👉 Don’t worry if your pups vaccination course isn’t quite finished yet — just let me know their vaccination dates. Prepaid - 60 Minute Manuscript Upload Session
This service caters to authors who have purchased a personal publishing package. In this virtual session, Coach Laura will help the author navigate the steps in publishing their finished manuscript on KDP and/or IngramSpark. This session will take place via Zoom. Familiarity with Zoom screen-sharing features is required. If you anticipate any challenges, please notify me so that alternative arrangements can be made.
