Bowen Technique
Please wear a vest or t-shirt and shorts or leggings for treatment.Bowen Technique is a holistic, hands-on therapy that uses gentle, precise movements over muscles, fascia/connective tissue to encourage the body’s natural healing processes. Bowen is deeply relaxing and non-invasive, making it suitable for people of all ages and levels of health. I apply light, rolling moves on specific areas of the body, stimulating the nervous system and prompting a healing response. These moves are followed by short pauses, allowing the body time to process the signals and make adjustments in its own way. Some acute recent conditions will respond to one treatment but on average for long lasting relief is often felt after three sessions and recommended by the Bowen Association.Bowen is unique because it addresses the body as a whole, not just the symptoms of discomfort.
