What this isA short, calm diagnosis to see if I can improve your monthly cash flow without changing daily operations or accounts receivable. This may not be a fit. If the numbers do not show a clear improvement, we will say so and part as friends.Who to includeIf someone else should feel comfortable with a money change—partner, spouse, or office manager—please invite them so the decision is made once. How we will work togetherWe will fill out the cash-flow worksheet together on the call. Please do not complete it in advance; having approximate numbers nearby is enough.CFC emailed intro sheet tidycal.xlsx (Right click so you can view it in a new tab)Among other things, I'll focus specifically on the debt: when it started, the interest rate, the monthly payment, the initial balance, and the current balance. We don't need perfection, but need to get in the ballpark. The tabs:Start here: Why are we working? What's the point of it all? I want to know your why and your dreams.Personal Worksheet: This is the personal side of personal finance. If a lot of this goes on a credit card that is paid off each month, what is the average credit card bill for the last 3-6 months?Business: if you own one (or several), let's get the skinny on this, too.Real Estate: if you have rental properties. If you don't, don't worry about it. (This would be rentals in your name, not via GP/LP syndications.)Your priorityWe will tailor the diagnosis to your priority: Sleep (cash cushion), Time (fewer clinical hours), Grow (team or equipment), Relief (personal debts), or your own word. What happens nextIf the numbers support a clear improvement with your boundaries, we will agree on the simplest next step. If timing is not right, reply “pause.” No chasing, ever.Talk soon,Howard

Vagal stimulation can have powerful benefits for overall health and well-being, helping to balance the nervous system and enhance physical and emotional resilience. Here’s a closer look at how vagal stimulation works and the benefits it offers:What Is Vagal Stimulation? The **vagus nerve** is a key component of the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps the body relax and recover from stress. Vagal stimulation involves activating this nerve to promote relaxation, reduce inflammation, and improve various bodily functions. It can be done through techniques like deep breathing, cold exposure, humming, meditation, and specialized therapies like Dolphin MPS.Benefits of Vagal Stimulation1. **Stress Reduction and Anxiety Relief** Stimulating the vagus nerve can activate the body’s relaxation response, helping to reduce anxiety and manage stress. Regular vagal stimulation encourages a calm state by reducing cortisol and enhancing feelings of safety and relaxation.2. **Improved Digestive Health** The vagus nerve plays a major role in regulating digestion. Vagal stimulation promotes better digestion and nutrient absorption by enhancing gut motility and reducing inflammation in the digestive tract. This can be especially beneficial for people with IBS or other digestive issues.3. **Enhanced Heart Health** Vagal stimulation has a positive effect on heart rate variability (HRV), a marker of heart health. A higher HRV is associated with better cardiovascular function and resilience to stress, reducing the risk of heart-related conditions.4. **Reduction in Inflammation** Chronic inflammation is linked to numerous health conditions, from autoimmune diseases to depression. By activating the vagus nerve, the body’s anti-inflammatory response is strengthened, helping reduce systemic inflammation.5. **Improved Sleep Quality** Vagal stimulation encourages relaxation and a balanced nervous system, promoting better sleep quality. For those with insomnia or disrupted sleep patterns, vagal stimulation can help calm the mind and prepare the body for rest.6. **Support for Mental Clarity and Focus** Since the vagus nerve has a close connection to the brain, vagal stimulation helps improve mental clarity, focus, and mood stability. This can enhance productivity, emotional regulation, and a sense of well-being.Techniques for Vagal Stimulation- **Deep breathing exercises**- **Cold exposure** (such as cold showers or splashing cold water on the face)- **Humming or chanting** (stimulates the vocal cords, which are connected to the vagus nerve)- **Meditation and mindfulness practices**- **Dolphin MPS Therapy** (provides targeted microcurrent stimulation, which can activate the vagus nerve)If you’d like more personalized guidance on how vagal stimulation can help, we’re here to support you with tailored therapies like Dolphin MPS at KVA Holistic Wellness. Let me know if you’d like any additional details!

This is fundamental if you are working as an independent practitioner. According to the CQC, a "healthcare professional" is defined as someone registered with a statutory regulatory body (e.g., HCPC, GMC, NMC) and with the training and legal obligations to ensure the safe and effective assessment and diagnosis of mental health conditions. This typically includes professionals such as psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and specialist nurses, who have undergone rigorous training in psychopathology and diagnostic practice. Some services employ a range of professionals to work as a team to contribute to the information gathering process which is part of ADHD assessments. They would work under the supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist or Psychiatrist, who will then formalise the diagnosis. This training will enhance your skills and facilitate your professional development towards that position. For educational purposes, Specialist Teachers with an APC can also assess students over 16 years of age, provided they receive additional training in ADHD. If you have an APC certificate, this training will greatly enhance your skills.
