1-on-1 Tutoring: Multiple Sessions
*All sessions are in Eastern Time by default.*These sessions make homework and studying less stressful by working through the student's assignments or study guides together. I explain concepts, help them understand and correct mistakes, and guide them toward greater confidence and independence in math.Each session is 1 hour long and conducted on Zoom. Students can book sessions as often as needed - whether that’s the same day each week, or at different times depending on availability. Sessions in blocks of 4 (dates of your choosing) are available here, or you can purchase single sessions at a slightly higher rate. That is a separate sign-up page, so to do that you'll have to go back to the booking types page.Students should bring enough homework or study materials to fill the hour. If they'll need me to provide additional problems, please note that in your booking, or email [email protected] at least 6 hours before the session.Please also email clear photos or PDFs of any worksheets or materials we'll be working on so I can view and write on them during our session. Students should join from a computer, laptop, or iPad (not a phone - they are too small to work on and see what I share on my screen) with a working microphone and camera, so we can discuss the problems and I can see their written work if needed.If the student is unable to attend a scheduled session, you can reschedule it for free with at least 12 hours' notice before the original session time. Do not cancel your session - you will not be refunded. Also, cancelling one of a multi-session package (such as this) could result in an error for your other sessions. Reschedule instead. Reschedules with less than 12 hours' notice will incur a $15 inconvenience fee. Sessions end at the scheduled time, though I may stay a few minutes past if we're in the middle of a problem.I specialize in Geometry and below (Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Algebra 1, Geometry). For Algebra 2 or higher, please email me the specific topic(s) in advance so I can confirm whether I can take that at this time.For any emails, please include your name, the student’s name, the math subject, and the date/time of the next scheduled session in your message to [email protected] information, along with the Zoom link, will also be sent to you in your confirmation email. Please make sure you receive that email, and if it goes to your Spam folder, be sure to mark it as 'Not Spam'.
