Know the coat before the dog is on the table
Four questions. Copy them onto every groom type.

"Matted" changes how long the groom takes and what it costs. Better to know when it is booked than when the owner is standing at the counter.
Price grooms by size, as separate booking types. One "full groom" slot means a Bernese gets the same 90 minutes as a Yorkie, and your whole afternoon runs late.
How a groomer actually uses it
The link goes on the van, the shop window and the Google Business Profile. Owners book at night and pay through Stripe or PayPal, so the deposit conversation never happens.
A new owner books a large dog groom and checks "Matted". You call them that morning about a shave-down instead of finding out with clippers in hand.
Regulars who come every six weeks buy the 6-groom pack and pick all six dates at once. If you groom from a van, put the address question on every type and add a longer buffer for the drive.

What is the best free booking app for pet groomers?

Can I charge different prices by dog size?
Yes. Create one booking type per size, each with its own length and price. Owners pick the one that fits their dog.
Can I ask about the coat and temperament?
Yes. Add intake questions to any booking type: breed, coat condition, how the dog handles grooming and the vet clinic. Answers come with the booking.
Can owners upload vaccination records?
No. Booking questions support text, dropdowns, checkboxes, dates and phone numbers, but not file uploads. Ask for the vet clinic and check records yourself.
Can a shop with two groomers share one page?
Yes. Agency Lifetime (up to 4 people) and Pro include a team booking page and round robin. Pro does not charge per seat.
